The AcoustIX video series I produced over 10 weeks this Fall has wrapped up for the year and the playlist of all of the performances can be found on the WTJU YouTube channel. This series was produced in part by a grant from Levitt Pavilions. I encourage you to vote for the IX Art Park in Charlottesville to host another 10-week concert series in the Fall of 2016 by going to the Levitt AMP polling page for WTJU.
Here is the link to the latest in my Slumber Party Massacre series :: Slumber Party Massacre II photos.
This is the second video I have shot and directed for the upcoming Sally Rose Band album “Gotta Be Gold”. This one features IX Art Park Resident Artist Chicho Lorenzo painting a mural of the album comer that I shot.
The Sally Rose Band released their first single from their upcoming album “Gotta Be Gold” and I shot and directed the video for it. Check it out!
Chamomile & Whiskey had me in the studio with them in April as they recorded two new songs for a Fall 2015 release. Here’s a 10 minute look behind the scenes (including the rough mixes of the tunes) I put together with a little editing help from Marco Duran.
I headed out to Minneapolis last week for the annual D4’th of July event hosted by Dillinger Four at the Triple Rock and this year featuring a secret one-off reunion show by Lifter Puller. I quickly snapped the photo below after their only practice before the gig. The rest of the practice photos can be seen on this page and the event photos of all the bands including Tim Barry and Against Me! can be found on my Flickr album page.
The final chapter in the “Views from Rock Falcon” a 10-piece series documenting the recording to the Hold Steady’s sixth album “Teeth Dreams” has been uploaded. Some serious nature stuff at the end of this one. Good night Franklin TN and your enormous spiders.
