Exploring the Sights, the Sounds and the Stories of Charlottesville in the Modern Rock Era

This interactive exhibit, curated by Rich Tarbell & Coy Barefoot and presented by Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society, opens with a First Fridays event from 5pm-8pm on April 5th. The exhibit will be up the month of April and it is free and open to the public during typical City Space hours (9pm-5pm Mondays through Fridays).

City Space is located on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall below the Market Street Parking Garage on the floor above the Post Office.

On Thursday, April 11th at 7pm the exhibit and City Space will play host to “An Evening with Rob Sheffield”. Rob is a renowned author, a longtime Rolling Stone columnist and a former Charlottesville resident now living in New York City. This event is presented by New Dominion Bookshop with the Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society and made possible by WTJU and the exhibit sponsor, Champion Brewing Company.
