Last month I shot and recorded a video of Tim Barry playing “Solid Gone” off his new album “Lost & Rootless”. The piece was shot in the shed behind his house and the significance of the location is simply, that is where the album was actually recorded last winter. Also, here are some photos I took of Tim in concert playing earlier this week in Baltimore with his current tour mates Two Cow Garage opening the shows.
Last weekend I was fortunate enough to be granted permission to shoot the The Replacements / Hold Steady / Deer Tick show in New York City at the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium. Although I got some good close-up shots from inside the security barrier at the front of the stage, the photo below is one of my favorites from the night just because of the sheer scale of it. The entire set of 33 photos can be found by clicking on my Flickr link.
It was a pleasure to see, meet and quickly get a shot of Death after their opening set before The Hold Steady in Richmond VA on September 5, 2014. Here is the link to the whole set of 24 photos from the day.
I was flattered and thrilled when the good folks from one of my absolute favorite bands, Cincinnati’s finest, Wussy asked me to do a video for their new album “Attica!”. Today it is the first video released for that impeccable record which can be ordered via their label – Shake It Records.
